These animals stand 14.2 hands at the shoulders on the average, and some species may reach 16 hands. There is no coat color limitation, but bay and sorrel are most common, as they match the color of grasslands, their natural habitat. Mustang horses are beautiful, but taking their photo galleries or photos in the wild is very difficult.
