Black Horse

This breed was extinct in the 1990’s, but was reintroduced to the Ukraine, Mongolia and some other countries with steppes. Wild equines can come in any coat color, but the most common color is bay, roan or chestnut, which help to blend with the grass of steppes.

Equines were domesticated about 6000 years ago; the cave paintings show that the ancestor of all modern breeds resembled the modern Przewalski breed (Equus przewalski poliakov).
